[ so the vibes this morning are "someone's ringing that For All Emergencies and Injuries line, but they're also sequestered in the most remote accessible room in the entire hotel, so that's inconvenient" ]
Oh, dear. I have to give you a price to pay, but you might not even be able to say yes or no to it, can you? You'll have to find some way to shake or nod your head. Now, what was it...
[ he's
making a show of hmmmming. thinking about this "price". ]
[WELL NO ONE IS GOING TO CONTACT THE MAINTENANCE MAN FOR THIS ASSHOLE... BUT THERE SURE IS A DEAD BODY IN THE BAR. he got stabbed in the midsection, so there's a lot of blood.]
Oh dear. It seems as though someone has made a mess.
[ Maintenance Man is picking Zenos up by the back of his collar (or. whatever he has around there) and is pulling him towards the elevator. He touches a very special button, and... well. It doesn't matter to a dead man, right? He doesn't need a description, does he?
It will hurt, but he's free to "wake up" now. It's a dark room with what looks to be a screen on one side, glowing faintly. Do you know how a weather forecast screen looks, on the news? It's like that, but everywhere is covered in dark clouds, and only glimpses of "land" are visible beyond them. It's a repeating animation of swirling, turbulent clouds. There's not a lot of light coming from it.
He's in a simple chair in the middle of the room, still very heavily injured. Like, if he's not treated very soon, he's just going to die again. And Maintenance Man is standing between him and the weather forecast screen.
There are no doors. There are no windows. It's just Zenos and the staff. ]
[this is the third time zenos woken up from death, and it's unlike the other two times--largely because he's in so much pain, and barely holding on. he coughs up some blood as he takes a breath, acutely feeling the damage to his organs, a wheezing sound escaping his lungs]
[Well no one is likely to call for him but surely one will eventually trip over retribution in the lobby, completely dead on the ground and probably no longer covered in sand, mostly!
[ into the elevator we go. and then down through... well. you're dead. don't worry about it.
dragging him into a dark room and placing him in a chair. there is only a wall filled with a glowing screen that looks like--you know when the weatherman is giving a weather forecast, he stands in front of a map that shows weather patterns? it's like that, but there are dark clouds over the land. the "storm" moves, and then resets, like it's a repeated animation. it doesn't give much light, but it's across the entire wall, so there's a bit.
your wounds heal, but... only enough to bring you back to life. you are going to die again if you are not fixed within minutes; healed enough to speak with weatherman the maintenance man. ]
You are in need of assistance, it seems. The hotel is prepared to help you, of course... but within circumstances like this, there is a simple price that must be paid. Unfortunately.
[ left at the front desk are four (4) roomba-like devices that appear to have little rollers, spritzers, wheels, suction-cup feet, and viewscreens. there's a single button on them, and when pressed the screen lights up with Hi! ^_^ before they start to zoom off and clean.
there's a note with them:
as if to demonstrate, there's a black light on the desk too and the entire area around the front desk is spotless. ]
[ yo I haven't finished the thread yet but I know that Blade is going to die (FINALLY) from a stab wound to the chest and his body was just dragged into another room and left there so that Dan Heng could finish his breakfast ]

[ ........... yeah he's not actually in any mood to talk. even when he gains consciousness he keeps quiet, his eyes following the storm as his body slouches in the chair. barely bothering to keep himself up.
if he's fully aware of what's happening he doesn't show it. maybe he's waiting for his body to heal itself (again). maybe he's waiting for it to finally give out. either way, he's waiting. ]
[are there even any body parts left of zenos to heal? seth did a pretty good job disemboweling him after he died. let's say there's a few scraps left. poor maintenance guy...]
